Prescription Refills

If you need a refill for a medication, please visit your MyChart account and click refill under the child who needs it. One of our nurses may reach out. While most refills are sent within the day of request, please allow up to 3 days and plan accordingly. Please follow up with your pharmacy after the initial request.

ADHD/Behavioral Health Refill Line

In an effort to provide optimal care and to ensure the safest and best care to our patients, the following office policies are in place for all individuals on medications for ADHD, anxiety and depression.

Medication Refills: 
•    All refill requests must be done by phone through the designated refill line. 
    o    The phone number is 617-969-8989, option 3, then option 1. 
•    Name and Date of Birth
•    Call back number
•    Medication name and dosage
•    Pharmacy where you'd like the prescription sent.
•    Refills may take up to 5 business days. Please plan your request accordingly. 
•    No prescriptions will be filled on weekends or holidays.

Appointments:
•    When a medication is initiated, the patient must be seen for a follow-up appointment within 4 weeks of starting the medication.  
•    Once a stable medication routine is established, follow up visits will generally be every 3-4 months. We require that at least 1 visit every 6 months be in person. At the discretion of your provider, some appointments may be virtual. 
•    Any time a medication is changed or a dosage is increased, the patient will need to be seen for a sooner follow-up visit. 
 

We will NOT be able to provide refills for any individual who is unable to comply with the above outlined best practices. Again, this is to help ensure safe and successful medication management for our patients.
